Outstanding Undergraduate Faculty Award: Dr. Cindy Atchley
Dr. Cindy Atchley thoroughly enjoys the program, the students, and the administration. She is a person who likes consistency and believes that online students need consistency in the way courses are developed and navigated; and CSU courses have that. She believes that being an online student in her Ph.D. program made her a better online teacher, knowing how bad some of her online professors were, especially not getting back to students with questions in a timely manner – or showing up at all. Cindy regularly receives outstanding scores on student evaluations, she is quick to respond to students and supports a course room that is inclusive. Cindy regularly accepts additional courses and has consistently provided feedback and information about improvement to courses.

Ronald (Ron) Premuroso's approach to everything he does at CSU Global including being a faculty, lead faculty, content expert, and faculty reviewer is student focused. He primarily teaches in the Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) program. He points out issues he finds in courses and provides resolution. He consistently exceeds faculty expectations and gets perfect scores in mentor reviews. He regularly receives positive feedback from students. “Barbara is the one to turn to when excellence is sought. Above average is what comes to mind when I think of Barbara. Regardless of her task, she completes it with accuracy and detail. Her instruction and student learning focus are admirable and a student under her tutelage can be assured of walking to the next course armed with more knowledge and writing skill than when they entered her course 8 weeks prior. She is rare in her work ethic and always ready and willing to take on another project. Barbara is a consistent 'rock' on our team. If we want it completed with detail and excellence, Barbara is the person.”
Barbara started at Global in June 2012 and is faculty in the Organizational Leadership program.
“Stone is a dedicated teacher and advisor to her graduate English students. She goes above what is expected of her in teaching the courses as she also advises them on outside projects to better their scholarly endeavors. This includes helping them with preparing to present at national and international conferences. Before graduation, she meets with any students who are local or are coming to the graduation to make them feel closer to the CSU-Global family. I witnessed this last year when I went with her to meet a group of six students for dinner the night before graduation. The bonding that had occurred in the cohort was beyond what I have seen in any online courses. Stone has been involved in reviewing courses as well as helping the CE of the graduate courses define what is needed for future revisions. Overall, I highly recommend Stone for the Outstanding Graduate Faculty Award.”

“Greg was instrumental in supporting the criminal justice mission throughout our very aggressive revision process in 2018. As part of our 2.0 strategy in criminal justice, we developed goals to increase engagement and relevance in all of our courses to create an incredibly dynamic and exciting course room for students. Greg was involved at every level in supporting this curriculum re-design and development process, from acting as Content Expert, to Faculty Reviewer, or simply answering questions and helping to guide others that were revising courses. Greg kept a clear vision on the 2.0 goals and inserted as many interactive tools as possible in each course in our program. He even spearheaded our most notable accomplishment which was the insertion of the Muzzy lane gamification platform in CRJ300, which allows students to interact in an extremely exciting role play in a criminal justice scenario.
