Whether you use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to ask Alexa to play that song you liked in high school on repeat or you relax while your self-driving car parallel parks for you, AI is becoming more ubiquitous in all industries and sectors. The most recent iteration is Chat GPT, released in November 2022.
Chat GPT is a chat bot that is regurgitating massive amounts of data to produce intelligent sounding answers, essays, papers, and any other command one can think of asking it. Well, except "inappropriate requests." It definitely has it's advantages and fun to test out with prompts like "writing a love letter in Shakespearean language" or "explain to me the benefits of time travel." And there are limitations as it may produce inaccurate information. There is a lot more to conversation to be had surrounding Chat GPT and thanks to a Princeton computer science major, an AI detector has been invented to ferret out those who choose to use it to write their papers for them.
