CSU Global Writing Center: Our Mission

OUR MISSION

Our goal is to provide support for all writers--from students to faculty and staff--in the CSU Global community. We strive to foster academic excellence and creativity by providing resources and support that meet the needs of graduate and undergraduate students. The Writing Center offers both one-on-one writing consultations and essay reviews in addition to resources designed to strengthen students' academic reading, writing, critical thinking, and research skills.

The CSU Global Writing Center is committed to:

  • Working with you to improve your writing projects by providing feedback during virtual writing consultations and asynchronous essay reviews, in addition to providing online resources.
  • Consulting with you at any stage of the writing process and on all types of writing projects by offering multiple accessible ways for you to learn collaboratively with us.
  • Encouraging the development of your creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills as a means toward building stronger communities.

The CSU Global Writing Center welcomes all writers and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability. These differences are the seeds for active learning, engaged writing, and an equitable society.
