CSU-Global Library has many resources to help you find information about a company.
When looking for information about a company, you will want to determine whether the company is publicly traded, private, or a subsidiary. There will be considerably more information available about public companies than private because publicly held companies are required to disclose financial information to the government.
When looking for information about a company to determine their strengths & weaknesses, consider both information from the company itself (e.g. the company website, annual reports, SEC filings, press releases) as well as information about the company written by others (e.g. newspaper articles, trade publications, analyst reports).
The databases below are available in the CSU-Global Library and include financial information (Mergent & MorningStar) on your company as well as research, company information, & trade news (Business Source Complete, ABI/INFORM Complete, NexisUni) about your publicly traded company.
